We had heaps of fun reading ´The Marble Maker´ & ´Keys´ to a very cool bunch of kids as part of the celebrations for The Children's Bookshop´s 25th birthday!! Such a privilege to be at the 2017 New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults among New Zealand's finest writers, illustrators & translators for children. We are delighted to have won the Te Kura Pounamu Award for our book Te Kaihanga Māpere (: Thank you so much for embracing our creative, inventive, & determined Marble Maker!
There is a brilliant line up of amazing books at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children & Young Adults 2017. We're feeling pretty chuffed to be part of it, surrounded by so many talented authors, illustrators & translators.
Super excited to be going to the Auckland Writers Festival! Look out for us on the 21st of May at the Family Day in the Aotea Centre along with Lauren Child and Toby Morris. Hopefully see you there!
